Black Women’s Stories Are Diverse
Imagine you have no name. Imagine every detail of your life story blasted to the public’s attention is so poorly written it doesn’t resonate with you at all.
“No Name” is a stage production written around the lives of ten black women and none of them have names because they are only known to the world and each other as their stereotyped state.
Given the opportunity each no name paints the strokes of her story in her own words. In a chorus of sisterhood and courageous joy, the women learn how to love themselves and each other past all the ways they’ve been harmed.
